Requirements specifications

Job Code / Role: Linux System Developer (Location: Bangalore)
Experience: 1 – 5 years
Qualification: BE/BTECH/M.TECH(CS/ECE/IS/EEE)

Skill set:
• OS: Embedded Linux
• Hardware: Experience of working with ARM / x86 processor
• Software:
• C Language, Bash/Csh Shell-scripts
• Knowledge of tool chains for embedded systems (cross-compilers, debuggers, etc.)
• Experience / Exposure to any of the following:
• – Linux kernel build system
• – Device drivers
• – General build system configuration (makefiles, etc.)
• Knowledge of existing open source toolkits (GtK, Qt, etc.), frameworks (Audio/Video frameworks like Alsa)
• Knowledge of packaging types (rpm, deb, etc.)
• Awareness of Open Source licensing models
