National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, a technical arm of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, is functioning with the broad objective of promoting technology development in activities related to Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resource utilization.

NIOT invites applications for the following on  contract basis :

1. Project Scientific Assistant : 63 posts
Pay : Rs.27300 – 30400

2. Project Technicians  : 37 posts
Pay : Rs.14200 – 15800

3.  Research Associate : 02 posts
Pay : Rs.22000/- + HRA

4.  SRF : 16 posts
Pay : Rs. 18000/- + HRA

5.  JRF : 08 posts
Pay : Rs.16000/- + HRA
