The National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya is being established as an Institution of National Importance, with funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The academic activities of the institute shall be started in Shillong at the Bijni Complex of NEHU in the city from July, 2012.

Applications in Prescribed Form are invited from Indian nationals for appointment on permanent/ contract/ deputation basis, possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work, passion for teaching & research and an inclination towards institutional development, for various faculty positions listed below.

1. Professor (ECE/ CSE/ EEE/) : 02 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 AGP Rs.10000/-

2. Associate Professor (ECE/ CSE /EEE/ Mech/Math/ Physics/ Chemistry) : 04 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 AGP Rs. 9000/-

3. Assistant Professor (ECE/ CSE/ EEE/ Mech/ Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry/ English) : 09 posts
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 AGP Rs.6000/-
