Requirement 1 :
Java/J2EE with Spring & Webservices is must.
Design : Good exposure to Design patterns
Good practical exposure to EJBs
SDLC : Good understanding of different phases

Requirement 2 :
Must be strong & hands on with Spring, Spring MVC, AJAX, JQuery, Jscript & JSTL is an added advantage. Basic knowledge of SQL Queries.
Strong with Object Oriented Programming & Multithreading concepts.
