Job Description  :

We at Tech Mahindra, Chandigarh are conducting a RECRUITMENT   DRIVE  for Network Analyst Openings from THURS DAY, 16th February, 2012 (onwards).

Requirement – I: Site To Site (S2S) Network Analyst

Job Description :
The Site To Site Network Analyst is responsible for Site-to-Site (“S2S”) violations’ investigation and monitoring of chronic issues for following metrics:
o Network Latency (Performance)
o Network Packet Delivery (Reliability)

This work includes following activities:
• Deeper analysis of Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) target misses to determine which ones are valid and eligible for customer credit payments and prevent incorrect credit payments to customers
• Addressing repeating misses in consecutive months
• Proficient use of a number of tools and software packages and fixing identified basic reporting issues in databases
• Meeting monthly deadline and tracking investigations results for management purposes
• Understanding of reporting environment and close cooperation with Reporting Analysts, Service Managers and Global Customer Service Centers (“GCSCs”)

Mandatory Skills and Experience:
• Personal Computer (“PC”) literate – very good computer skills including Microsoft (“MS”) Office, Excel and Access
• Basic networking knowledge
• Ability to interpret and analyze measured data for Network Latency, Packet Delivery
• Developing and maintaining reports based on the requirements
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English language
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
• Analytical thinking
• Ability to complete tasks within the set deadlines and quality criteria
• Ability to determine root causes for out of target values
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and cope well with time pressure
• Any Graduate/ Post Graduate (Except BE/ BTech or ME/ Mtech)

Requirement II – Service Reporting Analyst

Job Description:
The Service Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely customer reports to demonstrate delivery of service level agreement commitments for network quality, for following metrics:
o Network Availability
o Network Latency (Performance)
o Network Packet Delivery (Reliability)

This work includes:
• Report generation within set deadlines
• Providing inputs into crediting tool
• Providing problem determination on any customer site not meeting the contracted service level targets
• Cooperation with service managers to agree report content prior to making reports available to customers
• Identification of reporting problems of life cycle sites• Ownership of reporting for an agreed set of customers
• Good knowledge of reporting environment and close cooperation with support teams in different geographies to ensure that reports fulfil our quality commitments
• Proficient use of number of tools and software packages

Mandatory Skills and Experience:
• PC literate – very good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
• Knowledge of building Pivot Tables and Macros including VBA automation
• Developing/creating reports based on the requirements
• Analytical thinking including the ability to determine root causes for out of target values
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English language
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to complete tasks within the set deadlines and quality criteria
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and cope well with time pressure
• Any Graduate/ Post Graduate (Except BE/ BTech or ME/ Mtech)
