Job Description :

Walk-in @ ZMSPL on 3rd & 4th February 2012 for SQL Developer/ DBA.

For SQL Database Developer:
1) Strong SQL, Transact-SQL Programming.
2) Create and manage databases and their related components.
3) Implement data integrity by using the IDENTITY column property, constraints, defaults, rules, and unique identifiers.
4) Plan for the use of indexes.
5) Create and maintain indexes.
6) Create, use, and maintain data views.
7) Design, create, and use stored procedures.
Implement user-defined functions.
9) Create and implement triggers.
10) Program across multiple servers by using distributed queries, distributed transactions, and partitioned views.
11) Optimize query performance and tuning.
12) Analyze queries.
13) Manage transactions and locks to ensure data concurrency and recoverability

For SQL Database Administrator:
1) Must have solid understanding of relational data modeling concepts
2) Experience supporting development of web applications in a SQL/Server-application Environment
3) Able to write stored procedures / functions and parameterized queries (Mandatory)
4) Strong performance tuning skills at both the database and individual SQL levels, Performance Monitoring tools like SQL Server Profiler/System Monitor/ Activity Monitor (Mandatory)
5) Query optimization and performance tuning (Mandatory)
6) Solid experience writing and debugging queries/stored procedures, Able to write / test /
7) Update code and design to develop database objects and queries
Good working knowledge of Windows operating system
9) PERFORMANCE TUNING AND CONFIGURING SQL SERVER

• Running Perfmon utility to Monitor Performance
• Running Index Tuning Wizard
• Managing Tempdb
10) Strong experience with database backup and recovery methods in a production environment
• Backup and Restore Databases/Logs
• Recovery of master database and device using buildmaster
• Recovery of msdb database
• Recovery of user database
