| I—Civil Engineering |
B.E/ B.Tech. Passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India)/ obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time/ Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)/ Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India/ assed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959. |

Note: Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament
Service (Electronics Engineering Posts and Engineer Group 'A' in Wireless
Planning and Coordination Wing/Monitoring Organization) may possess any of
the above qualifications or M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless
Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a
special subject.
Age Limit: 21- 30 yrs on the 1st August, 2010
Application Fee: A candidate seeking admission to Examination must pay
to the Commission a fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees One hundred only) through a
single Central Recruitment Fee stamp. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of the
requisite denomination. Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (NOT postage stamps)
must be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application form
in the space provided therein
Apply Details :
UPSC application form along with an Information Brochure containing
general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and
an envelope for sending the application is obtainable from the designated
Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country as listed in
Appendix-III of Notice against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty
only). The applicants are required to affix the postage stamp of Rs. 6/-
on the Acknowledgement Cards and send the same along with application form
to UPSC. The duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card
should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the
Information Brochure. The candidate should also write the name of
Examination viz. "Engineering Services Examination, 2010" on the envelope.
The completed offline application form must reach
the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New
Delhi-110069 on or before 2nd March,
2010.
